Moreton

Or Moretonhampstead to give it it’s full name. 
Always at odds with it’s neighbouring town of Chagford, the two have been rivals since way back as far as the English Civil War (1642–1651) when Moretonhampstead was a Roundhead stronghold and Chagford the Cavaliers.
So today in any quiz or cricket game the rivalry still prevails, albeit in a more civilised form. These days they don’t fight each other using muskets and cannons. Well, not as far as I know !
